Ahana Dasgupta is a recent graduate of The George Washington University, where she earned a dual degree in Political Science and Finance—an academic pairing that reflects her interest in how policy and markets actually interact in the real world. 

She has built a foundation in policy research and regulatory analysis through academic work and internships across government relations, think-tank, and regulatory settings. Her experience includes analyzing state fiscal and tax policy, tracking legislative developments across jurisdictions, and supporting research on issues ranging from budget transparency and campaign finance to energy policy and regulation. She has also worked on nonpartisan political research, strengthening her ability to distill complex and fast-moving information into clear, practical insights.  

Outside of her professional interests, she enjoys reading, going on long walks, and shopping—usually with a good playlist on and a coffee in hand.
